Poetry: Lullaby (To a newborn autistic baby)

Welcome sweet angel.
As time flies, so will you.
Clip your wings,
I shall not.
Capable you are
Of deeds most heavenly.
Devil’s apostles may
Darken your sky.
Clouding you with
Labels aplenty.
Fear not,
For they do that
To feel safe in their dim dungeons.
Sleep safe knowing that
I will be a candle
To light up your soul
‘Til my last radiant flicker.

Truly, these lines have made me speechless…… They are so direct, so real ….capturing the cruelty sometimes inflicted by the ignorant individuals on those flying into this beautiful world like any other to live and thrive in it but may be with some differences…… You have a very powerful pen Anantha, keep it going….

Boy! what an amazing poetry….. these lines are so supportive, give a shoulder to anyone who’s confidence might have been shaken….. Your inner strength is enormous, it is obvious….. that can stay above any devil’s evil plans….

Truly, you are creating a fan in me…… Keep them coming.
