Following on from the protest earlier in September, protesters once again gathered outside of the Home Office, London, UK, to demand that the pending deportation of Osime Brown be halted.
The notion of Osime being detained in an immigration detention centre is unthinkable. And yet, this seems to be the plan when he is released from prison on 7th October.
Osime was sentenced to 5 years in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. Now, Osime has been scheduled for deportation to Jamaica where he knows no one and would have nothing.
Osime Brown, a 21 year old Black autistic man, is scheduled to be deported, alone, to Jamaica this month. He has not been there since he was four years and has no support waiting for him.
