Beth retired in 2018 from a leadership position in Virginia’s lead agency for early intervention for infants and toddlers. Her experience as a parent and grandparent of neurodivergent children who were not always able to meet their schools’ behavioral expectations has fueled her passion to advocate for the lives of other vulnerable children and their families through education, mutual support, and advocacy.
Matthew Rushin received a pardon, but justice was not served. He’s still in prison and has COVID, and is scared and alone. He should be released to get the care he needs.
