The Following is a poem about late diag­nosis and learning to under­stand and love one­self even through the Hardship of melt­downs, shut­downs, and every­thing in between.

From a mighty lion to a meager shrew.

Would they notice the change if only they knew?

A once-full moon now shrouded by clouds.

If only they knew and remem­bered me now.

A blooming flame that never burns out,

Why care if they see me,

If they’re con­sumed by such doubt?

Would they notice the halo where my horns once grew?

If only they knew, if only they knew…
